Message from the President
Welcome to The Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association (TGCPAA) website. We are delighted to have you inquire about our Association. Established in 1984, TGCPAA is a division of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Our mission is to organize and provide continuing medical education as well as, provide legislative and product updates to membership. In addition, we offer opportunities for leadership, professional development, community service, and career advancement. At present we are one of the largest regional physician assistant associations in Texas and we meet every other month in combination with a sponsored lecture and regular business meeting.
Member benefits include a TGCPAA membership directory, advanced notice of employment opportunities, ability to participate in local philanthropy projects, and an online CME transcript of meetings attended. In addition, the Board of Directors is working on developing an annual CME event for the purpose of category I continuing medical education credit.
The Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association is an excellent avenue for growth and professional development and our members enjoy being part of an Association focusing on the education and advancement of the Physician Assistant Profession.
